Latest Release
Version 1.2.0 (21/09/2026)
Your projects
- New Backup button in the launcher header: export the projects of PyPotteryLens, PyPotteryScan and PyPotteryTrace to a single
.zipfile, and import them back on any installation. You choose which projects to save, and what to do when one already exists (keep both, replace it, or skip it) - Updating or reinstalling a module no longer deletes its projects. Before, an update replaced the whole module folder, projects included. Uninstalling a module or the suite still removes them, so the uninstall confirmation and the Windows uninstaller now say so and point to Backup
Interface
- The module cards, the start and install dialogs and the changelog now use the new logos without the written name
- The changelog panel shows the release notes written in the documentation
- Fonts, icons and the Excel export library are served from the launcher itself, so it looks the same without an internet connection
- The downloaded AI models list shows the YOLO and classifier weights as used by PyPotteryLens
For testers
- Beta channel: set
PYPOTTERY_CHANNEL=beta(or put achannel.txtcontainingbetanext to the launcher) to install the modules from theirbetabranch instead of the latest release. The channel is read again at every install
